School-based behavioral health services
School-based behavioral health services are an effective strategy in identifying youth at risk of or experiencing a mental health or substance use disorder and removing barriers to accessing services.
Renaissance behavioral health’s school-based counseling program provides integrated mental health treatment for children and adolescent. Helping students overcome behavioral, emotional, or social problems that interfere with success at school and at home.
Children spend most of their waking hours in school. When emotional or behavioral problems get in the way of learning, Renaissance is there to provide the support they need to succeed.

Our RBH staff members are credentialed to provide services based on their degree and knowledge in social work, counseling, or psychology. These creative professionals’ partner with teachers, school administrators and parents to develop individualized treatment plans and behavioral interventions for students.
Our program also includes home visits, teacher consultations, and individual and family counseling. When a therapist identifies a need that goes beyond the scope of the school environment, the child may be referred to receive other Renaissance programs or community services, in addition to their School-Based therapy.
